Time to get GF tickets for 2027. Go the Dargons!

We rolled out of town at 7.30 this morning.
I forgot to mention, Aiguës Mortes was once sitting on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. It was the port where the crusades left from back in the 12th century. (Silting from the waterways has pushed the sea back 5km since)
The pink flamingos. Are a bit far away for my phone camera.
Our first look at the Mediterranean Sea. La Grande Motte.
It’s the Mediterranean Sea, but we’re not quite finished – we are making our way along the Rhone canal to Sete.
Someone has been very happy today – he’s been keeping an eye on the Dragons/Cronulla NRL game.. looks like we’re in for a win.👏🏻
We thought about a dip…
Very unusual architecture in this town.
A measly 40kms later we’ve arrived at the entrance to the old city of Montpellier.
We’re staying at the Hotel d’Argon – they’ve upgraded us to a King suite. But that means it’s on the top floor!
We’ve had a quiet afternoon – but have now found ourselves at a bar on the outskirts of town called The Black Sheep. We’ve made friends with the bar manager – Michaels had him playing AC/DC.
