Oyster territory.😜

And the suns out again.👍🏻
We left Soulac yesterday morning and made our way to the ferry crossing the Gironde.
– it took 35 minutes and then we were back on the track to Marennes.
With a couple of stops along the way.
Then, this morning we rode our bikes down the canal to the oyster village. (To test out a dozen of their No 1’s.)
Not as nice as the smaller ones.
An aerial shot of the oyster village at Marennes.
It was a short day today. Only 40kms across to Rochefort.
A Naval town founded back in 1666.
The rope factory.
337 metres long!

An early night with dinner and Netflix in our apartment tonight.

The windows were open and it sure was noisy outside, I could hardly hear the tv. After the movie finished we realised the feds were outside arresting someone.

Bit of excitement in the hood. Two police cars and 8 cops.🙄
