Ridin the ViaRhona

We didn’t get far.

We started heading out of Bordeaux and only got this far.
This is in the Bordeaux marina. It’s the submarine base built in 1943.

In Bordeaux’s former submarine base. The Bassins des Lumières, which are the largest digital arts centre in the world. At the moment is the show of Matisse and Frida Kahlo.

I wish I could upload videos.
It set the scene by having the doors open and a submarine coming into the dock.
The music with it was amazing.
And the atmosphere of walking through the submarine base and around the docks that were full of water was pretty cool too.

This place next door overlooked the harbour and was packed by the time we left.

Tomorrow we head to the coast.
