The Danube now becomes the border between Romania, north of the river and Serbia, south of it.

This little one waited with us for the ferry. (I probably shouldnโ€™t have given her treats)
We thought we were going to be pushing our bikes up this plank (the same way we saw a guy climb up it!) we waited for the next one.
Looking back at our little place last night.
Coming into Ram. A small village overlooked by the ruins of an Ottoman fortress on the cliffs beside the river.

A cycle path took us next to the river the whole way round to Golubac! It was the best ride weโ€™d had so far in Serbia. The only issue we had was a slight headwind – but we didnโ€™t even mind that today. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

We were just waiting for it to end. It didnโ€™t! ๐Ÿ˜œ
We dilly dallied today with two coffee stops before lunch.

Along the way we met a nice couple from Switzerland and a young Belgium girl all heading in the same direction as us. It was interesting to compare stories:)

Coming into Golubac. 42kms.

The river at this point is 5km wide and used for an annual sailing regatta.

Weโ€™re busy planning our day tomorrow- should be an action packed day – I think thereโ€™s castles, rock carvings and plenty of tunnels! ๐Ÿ˜ฐ
