Regensburg to Bogen.

Last shot of the old stone bridge on our way out of Regensburg this morning.
This one is at the bottom of the imposing temple Walhalla (not to be confused with Valhalla)

It is a reproduction of the Parthenon in Athens and is a pantheon for Germanic heroes.

(That was as close as we got for obvious reasons……… It’s up a hill ok?!!!)

Another Schloss.
This stop was for a pedal change – Michaels had started to ‘click’.

Then we rolled into Straubing around lunchtime. 54kms. We were originally planning to stay here, but there’s a beer festival on and ‘no rooms left at the inn’ – so, after lunch and a beer we headed to the next town. Another 12km along the trail.

The Beer festival area was fenced off and surrounded by theme park rides. That’d be a NO.
We’re off to the town of Bogen.
And admiring the German bike paths.
2 minutes later – we hit a road block. Sort of…

So, 63kms later we’re Bogens. Just for tonight.

And got on top of all our washing.👍🏻
