It started off as a light drizzle and then really set in for most of the 40kms.

In fact, I’m not sure what was wetter – my hair or my socks.

At one point, we took refuge in this beautiful baroque style church in Munderkingen.

But he’s still smiling!
A cycle rest place with a drinking water fountain let us recover from a very steep climb (well, walk;)

From this point we missed a turn at a busy intersection and added an extra couple of kms to the day – which wouldn’t have been too bad except it was a hill we’d travelled down!😖

Nearly in town.

We finally made it and just as we did, the rain stopped.

Our hotel- Gasthof Zum Ochsen
The fountain in Ehingen Marktplatz.
There are four breweries in town, so we had a wee sample of some of the local beers with dinner.
