Getting close now.

Our little abode last night.

It’s a ‘rest day’ for us again today. We’re still a little fatigued from yesterday’s ride. Only 40kms into Călăraşi.

Big D (we’ve come to call her by this term of endearment) is over to the right there somewhere. (tbh Michael sometimes calls her something else. But it’s a family page…)
A busy road took us into the city. There was a bike lane (sort of) for the last few kms.

It’s a city of 58,000, so we had a decent choice of accommodation for tonight.

A king size bed with a baby size tv? (Maybe there’s a looooooong extension arm on it?)
And for you Millennials – a phone with a cord in the back of it.

We had a nice rest before a walk down by the river.

Getting ready for a big day tomorrow. I think we’re in for a few hills.😬
There’s a wedding here tonight.
