A trip to the supermarket to stock up. We’re not sure what to expect at our destination tonight.
Then a visit to this beautiful Church before we leave Turnu- Magurele.

As poor as a lot of the country seems, there a lots and lots of very large houses being built by Roma families to ‘flex’ their wealth. (Most of them aren’t finished)

I took this photo this morning.
Dad took this photo of the same house in 2014.

We only had 45kms today as we couldn’t get accommodation in our original town destination of Zimnicea.

But luckily for us – with only a few weeks away from celebrating our Wedding Anniversary, we scored this place in Fantanele. It’s a reception venue and very nice.
The host was super friendly and was bringing us coffee and beers.
And this… 🤯 (it was hard to drink – but we didn’t want to seem ungrateful 😯)

He was trying to give Michael another shot of it and was disappointed when “The Boss” put the kibosh on that idea. (You’re welcome honey)
