(Our nerves were a little frayed after our ride into town)

The cart was collecting kids for school.
There are still wells in each town that are being used.
1/2 the way today was a quiet country road. The rest was not.
We’re just grateful for the 50cm of hard shoulder.
After our morning coffee stop, we popped into see the grave of Petre Lupu, a shepherd whose visions in the early 1930’s inspired the building of the Maglavit Monastery.
Arrived in Calafat and went into the first bar we saw.
We deserved a drink.
These ladies were coming up the street.
Dropped our bikes off.
Before going to lunch. These ladies wanted to chat with the Aussie.
Time for some more Leu.

This is a nice little town. There’s a pedestrianised street with gardens and water features all the way along the block.

Enjoying the warm evening out.
