It was a great morning, except for the headwind we had for the first few kms.

The Iron Gates gorges are 134km long.

We just had to deal with these bloody tunnels. We were lucky that we had no cars or trucks come past us whilst we were in them. 😮‍💨
We were trying to work out if we’d go down to the remains of Lepanto vir Mesolithic village (it meant a steep climb up)
We reached a consensus. Nay. We went this way instead.
Donji Milanovac. It’s a new town built in 1970 to replace the original, which disappeared beneath lake Derdap after the construction of the dam.

Some of the apartments are still in the communist era style though.
