Heading South, smashing through borders.😜

What a beautiful morning!
Leaving Hungary.

Not long after leaving Mohacs we passed this old watch tower close to the Croatian border.

(It was a bit hard to get a decent photo as the road was a little busy) – in the background an old guard tower @ the Croatian border.
We weren’t sure what to expect coming through the border today.
But there was no one there!!!
I had to google it. 🙌🏻aha!
Hello Croatia….. trying to keep ahead of the rain.
It’s looking like rain – but we’re grateful for the cooler weather and cloud cover.
A fabulous coffee stop at Suza.

We nearly took an alternative route through a nature reserve- luckily for us there was a police car parked there and we stopped to ask which way was best.

There was a soccer game on as we were coming into town – (and they were good) except the heavens opened up.
Organising to get into our apartment.
Which is very nice for $125A!
Hunting and gathering for dinner.
Kebabs it is.
And planning our next stage.
This was today.
