Bye bye Bratislava

Except we had to wait for the reception to open at 8am to get our bikes out.😣
Leaving Bratislava- there were showers on and off for a while.

It was a good asphalt track on the flood dyke to the border of Hungary (about 21km from Bratislava)

It wasn’t long before we were in Mosonmagyarovar. (I know🙄)

1/2 way mark for today.
Our Eurovelo 6 route had suddenly become a footpath next to the road.
This was good compared to most of it – it was so rough in patches we were worried for our spokes.
80kms later and we were pulling up to our hotel. It’s lovely and only $150A 👌🏻
Guess who’s having a bath tonight.
There’s a huge police presence in the town square. We sat and watched while we had a couple of wines and worked out there’s a big local football game on tonight.
