That’d be Albert Einstein and that’s where we are heading today. Ulm.

First in last night – makes it hard to be first out in the morning!
Leaving town, we stopped for fruit at the local market.
Then the war memorial on the way out of town.

We then followed a valley to Blaubeuren for a visit to the blue water lagoon (source of the Blau river)

It was our fav little German town today.
What a day – the weather was perfect and the track was like this for the whole 45kms! 🤸🏽‍♂️
Riding through Herrlingen we came across this cemetery where Erwin Rommel is buried. (One of the most famous German military commanders in the 2nd WW.

Made it to Ulm around 1.30.

The spire of Ulm Cathedral is the world’s tallest church spire.
Yes, we went in for the usual prayer.
Dear God – no hills and no rain please.🙏🏻

Before a wander around town.

Old city entrance.
The new library next to the old Rathaus (council building)
Looking back at the old town from the other side of the river.
Tonight’s view from my hotel room. 👌🏻(I bet the bells keep me awake all night🙈)
