Ok. Here we go. This is the official start marker of The Danube bike ride.
The confluence of the Brigach and the Breg = The Danube.

From here, we journey through 10 European countries before arriving at the Black Sea.

Fun fact. No other river in the world flows through or touches as many countries as the Danube. On its way, it passes through Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.

37kms today – easy ride to start our journey. We took a walk around – This town is quite industrial and known for its steel industry, particularly the production of surgical equipment and medical applications used around the world.

Thought this looked like a fun place.
A nice spot on the river to do our blog – & the rain is about to start…
